In appreciation of the El Dorado Promise, Barton conducted a year long unit studying the gas and oil industry and how it affects student life, as well as learning more about Murphy Oil Corporation and its dynamic impact on our community.  As a final activity, Barton students were treated to a 'Back to Boomtown' celebration, complete with authentic 1920 demonstrations and events.
